Brief History

SCEMPCO was organized by a   group of employees from different   offices at the city government   of Sagay on August 1, 1997.

​

•It is intended for all employees with the main objectives of improving the quality of life.

•It was registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) on January 5, 1998 with eighty (80) members in a paid up share of 75,000 pesos.

•Productive and provident loans are its credit services

•It also engages in marketing and trading basic commodities to members at affordable prices
